They are fragile in nature. They reflect a moment, a while, a life. They have short-term memories in which they record reality. Sometimes they distort it perversely.
Using them, you can even see a substitute for infinity.
The crystal ones were once considered the most elegant. Did the reflections in them seem more beautiful?
Mirrors became an inspiration for me to paint artworks entitled “Distorting Mirrors“. According to the convention, the diptych multiplies its faces and will soon turn into a cycle.
